Biography

 David C. Dvorak has been an Advisor of Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. since July 11, 2017. Mr. Dvorak serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Zimmer Inc and has been its Director since May 2007. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. (formerly Zimmer Holdings, Inc.) from May 1, 2007 to July 11, 2017. He served as the Chief Legal officer of Zimmer Holdings Inc. since December 2005 and also served as its Executive Vice President of Corporate Services since October 6, 2003 until December 2005, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs from December 6, 2001 to October 6, 2003, Group President of Global Businesses since December 2005, Chief Counsel since 2005, Corporate Secretary from February 1, 2003 to December 2005 and General Counsel since December 6, 2001 until December 2005. Mr. Dvorak was responsible for legal affairs, corporate business development, corporate communications and corporate human resources of Zimmer Holdings, Inc. He served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Steris Corporation. Prior to joining Steris in 1996, he practiced corporate law at two large Cleveland, Ohio law firms, focused on mergers and acquisitions and on securities law. He served as the Chairman of Advanced Medical Technology Association (formerly AdvaMed) since March 16, 2012. Mr. Dvorak focuses on the Achieve the association's highest priority advocacy issues, such as working with FDA to ensure successful implementation of the new user fee agreement and repealing the medical device excise tax. He has been a Director at St. Jude Medical Inc. since August 04, 2015. He has been a Director of Zimmer Inc. since May 1, 2007. He has been a Director of Advanced Medical Technology Association since 2006. He served as a Director of Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. from May 1, 2007 to July 11, 2017. He served as the Chair of the association's orthopedics sector since 2004. Mr. Dvorak holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.
