Biography

Mr. Hidde van der Wal has been the Chief Executive Officer of Barentz Ravago Chemical Specialist SA since 2012 and has been responsible for the growth of the business throughout Europe and the ongoing expansion into other areas. Mr. van der Wal serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Barentz International BV. and Barentz B.V. He was Managing Director of Barentz B.V. He has been Chief Executive Officer of the Barentz Group since 2002. He joined Barentz in 1988 as Sales Manager where he initially qualified as a food technologist. From 1994 to 2000, he was Vice President of ADM Europe and Management Member, responsible for the EMEA area. He rejoined Barentz in 2000 as Managing Director for Barentz Netherlands. In 2012, he was also appointed to become Chief Executive Officer of the new BRCS company, a top EMEA Chemical Distributor, founded as a JV between Barentz and Ravago, founded in 2012. Mr. van der Wal serves as the Director of Barentz International BV. and Barentz B.V
