Biography
Following his degree in medicine and research fellow positions at Copenhagen hospitals, Anders Gersel Pedersen worked for Eli Lilly for 11 years: 10 of these as a director overseeing worldwide clinical research in oncology. In 2000 he joined Lundbeck as Vice President of International Clinical Research, he was later appointed Executive Vice President of Drug Development and in 2011 appointed responsible for all Research & Development activities at Lundbeck. He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Danish Society of Medical Oncology and the Danish Society of Internal Medicine. Anders Gersel Pedersen also serves on the Board of Directors at Bavarian Nordic A/S and ALK-Abelló A/S and is Deputy Chairman in Genmab A/S.
