Biography

Mr. Xie Hong is the Founder and Actual Controller of Beingmate Baby & Child Food Co., Ltd. Mr. Hong founded Beingmate Group Co. Ltd., in 1992 and serves as its Chief Baby Nurturing Expert. Mr. Hong is the Founder of Zhejiang Beingmate Technology Industry & Trade Co. Ltd. He serves as Managing Director of Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology and Chinese Infant Foods Specialized? Society. He serves as the President of Hangzhou Baby Industry Association; Zhejiang Woman and Baby Industry Trade Association, Honorary President of Taiwan Baby and Woman Manufacturer Fellowship, MBA Tutor in Zhejiang University, Visiting Professor of Zhejiang Gongshang University, Vice President of Zhejiang Province Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development, Member of Zhejiang Preventive Medicine Professional Commission and Managing Director of China Marketing Association. He entered Hangzhou University of Commerce (the former Zhejiang Gongshang University) in 1980. He worked in the university after graduation, undertaking scientific food research, management of educational administration and education since 1984. He formed the embryo of "Beingmate's successful parturition, nurture and education theory" after intensive research on the cognitive process, language and mental activity of infants in 1987. In 1989, he formed an idea to establish one professional service enterprise for babies and infants, which pays equal attention to products and knowledge service. When the domestic baby industry was at its infant stage, he foresaw the great potential of the Chinese baby industry in 1988. Under the obligation of the ideal of prospering the nation by business, he started to research and develop food for babies independently. He successfully developed the first formula food for babies Beingmate babies' instant nutritious rice cereal that conforms to the physiological characteristics of the Chinese babies in 1991. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beingmate Baby & Child Food Co., Ltd. He has been an Independent Director at BGI Genomics Co., Ltd. since June 2015. He has written 19 books such as Create a Champion Baby, Baby Nutrition and Scientific Feed, Beingmate Successful Parturition, Feeding and Education, and Systematic Management Theory. Mr. Hong completed his graduation in Zhejiang University in 1989.
