Biography
When I started at the Aarhus Architectural School in 1994, no-one was talking about "BIM", personally I was not interested in advanced features such as volume extraction or coordinated models but most of all focused on finding a light and logical modeling tool that could run on my new laptop. I tried many different but ARCHICAD took me as being where I could sketch freely but also actually screw a building together as it should be built, ie an unconscious need for both design and design. After the second semester, I signed all projects up in ARCHICAD without being locked to work only digitally, I often used scanned drawings and photos of models as the basis for more precise drawing in the program.
