Biography
Niels’ scientific training is in agronomy (Cand Agro) specialized in plant pathology. But since 1987 his career has been in science policy and administration in a Danish, Nordic and European context. Niels has a broad knowledge and understanding of the research system in the European countries and in depth knowledge about the Nordic countries and Denmark. Since 2007 Niels has worked at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) as executive secretary to the board of directors for Research Center Risø and now in a similar position at Department of Energy Conversion and Storage also at DTU.
