Biography
Born 1956. Professor, D.Sc. Elected 2010 and 2016. Election period expires 2017. Member of the Board of Directors of the Carlsberg Foundation and of the Board of Trustees of the Carlsberg Laboratory. Lars Stemmerik was head of the University of Copenhagen’s Department of Geography and Geology 2007-2012. He is currently a member of the Academic Council in the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences.
Research Interest
With this background, he has substantial experience in managing knowledge-based organisations and particular expertise in the analysis of complex issues and the presentation of plans and results.
