Biography
Within Cochrane, David leads a team based in London, but he is also responsible for all the published content produced by Cochrane, and the strategic development of the Cochrane Library. He oversees the work of the Cochrane Review Groups and Methods Groups.
Research Interest
David Tovey is the Editor in Chief at Cochrane. He was a General Practitioner in the UK until 2003, when he moved to the BMJ ‘Knowledge’ department – initially as Deputy Editor of Clinical Evidence, moving on to become Editorial Director. In 2009 he was appointed to his current role.
