Biography

 Derek Holt , serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Startup America Partnership, LLC and part of its founding team. Ms. Warner is responsible for business operations and management of resources. She serves as an Advisor at Conscious Venture Lab. She is a seasoned business leader, strategist and connector with over 20 years of executive and leadership experience across the private and public sectors. She led the relationships with Startup America’s founding sponsors, the Case Foundation and the Kauffman Foundation and with its key public partner, the White House. She also launched Startup America Women. As part of the leadership team, she worked closely with Startup America’s community of regional Champions, corporate sponsors, and key partners to further Startup America’s mission of supporting high growth companies and founders. Ms. Warner also coordinates a number of strategic activities and initiatives, including the Startup America Women initiative, all focused on heightening engagement with, awareness and support for high growth startups. Prior to joining the Startup America Partnership, she served as District Director for a Congressman where she oversaw multi-office district operations and helped develop and implement policy objectives, strategies and operating plans for the district and matters impacting her constituents, including but not limited to those involving her financial services and Homeland Security committee assignments. Ms. Warner, an attorney, also spent over ten years in the private sector. She received her BA in Public Policy from Duke University and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
