Biography
"My research focuses on multinational corporations’ strategies and foreign direct investments in developing countries and emerging markets. I am interested in the economic benefits and costs of hosting multinational corporations. I have a special interest in the Container Shipping industry and the Oil & Gas industry. In the industrial PhD, I analyze the role of the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group in economic development on selected strategic growth markets. Based on case studies, I investigate the Group’s development effects. The findings are translated into commercial concepts and processes that support the core business while addressing societal challenges in host societies. The research is conducted within the framework of the Industrial PhD. I am employed at A.P. Moller – Maersk within Group Sustainability. majbritt.greve@maersk.com"
