Biography
"Born: April 26, 1966 Eric Alström has a broad management experience from leading positions in global industrial companies. In 2012, he joined Danfoss as President and CEO for Sauer-Danfoss Inc., a publicly listed company on the New York Stock Exchange, whose majority shareholder was Danfoss. When Danfoss bought the remaining shares in 2013, the company was renamed, and Eric Alström became President for Danfoss Power Solutions. In 2008-2012, Eric Alström served as Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) at Benteler Automotive. 1992-2008, he held several leading positions within General Motors in Europe, the US, and the Asia-Pacific region, concluding as Vice President of Purchasing and Supply Chain for GM Europe and Geschäftsführer Adam Opel GmbH. Eric Alström holds a Master of Science in Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Economics from the Gothenburg University."
