Biography
"Born: June 21, 1957 Vesa Laisi has a broad management experience from leading positions in global industrial companies. In 2014, Vesa Laisi was appointed President of Danfoss Drives in connection with the acquisition and integration of Vacon Plc., a global AC drives manufacturer, listed at NASDAQ OMX Helsinki and headquartered in Vaasa, Finland. For 13 years, Vesa Laisi was President and CEO of Vacon Plc. In 1982-2001, he held various positions at Vaisala, ABB Industry (Drives Group), ABB Strömberg Drives, Strömberg UK (England), and Kymi-Strömberg. "
Research Interest
He holds an M.Sc. in Electronics from the Tampere University of Technology in Finland, and an M.Sc. in Marketing from the Helsinki University of Economics in Finland. Moreover, he has taken additional studies in the Euro MBA program at the Helsinki University of Technology in Finland.
