Mette Glavind

Biography

 I am Director of Construction and Civil Engineering at the Danish Technological Institute, and runs a comprehensive business with knowledge-intensive technical service and innovation for the construction industry. Before this I was in about 10 years head of the Betoncentret at the Danish Technological Institute, Denmark's largest knowledge center for concrete. I have a thorough knowledge of both the Danish and European research and innovation systems from trust posts, from the evaluator role and from hands-on experience in initiating and managing a large number of large and small projects and partnerships. In 2011, I received a prize for my special abilities to form a bridge between the research and the profession and create results for all parties. Trusteeship also includes board posts and a member of the Realdania Board of Representatives.
