Biography

"I am executive vice president of the Materials division at the Danish Technological Institute. A central focus of my daily work is to ensure that Danish companies, through easy access to technology, knowledge and inspiration, can work towards continued growth and create more jobs for the benefit and inspiration of others. The method for achieving this is breaking down barriers, known as well as unknown, for the application of new advanced materials solutions in new products. In order to be successful, a strong team of dedicated and very competent employees in conjunction with a unique technological infrastructure is required. My division has exactly that."  

Research Interest

The Materials division consists of six specialist centres, which as a whole cover metallic as well as composite and polymeric materials and the amalgamation leading to production processes such as eg. Additive Manufacturing. We have successfully placed ourselves in the exciting intersection between research and applied technology with the industry as well as universities and research institutes in Denmark and abroad. As such, throughout my entire career I have worked with both academia and the industry.
