Biography
Svend joined the Foreign Ministry in 1994 after working at Danske Bank the European Parliament. He has held many distinguished positions since joining the Ministry including: Head of section for the European Department, Second Secretary (political) and First Secretary (economic) at the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C., Head of IT Department, Deputy Head of Mission at the Royal Danish Embassy in Berlin, Head of Department, COP15LOG, Ambassador of Denmark to People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and Head of Department for Export Promotion.
