Biography
Rafael Taboryski (RT) was born in 1963. RT is a lecturer at DTU at the Department of Micro and Nanotechnology, where he studies and teaches physics and nanotechnology. RT is educated as a physicist from the University of Copenhagen (KU) and obtained his PhD degree in 1992 from the University of Copenhagen. Previous appointments have been at the University of Cambridge in England as postdoc, at the Danish Fundamental Metrology as a scientific employee, and at Sophion Bioscience A / S as head of the development of the company's biochip. At KU and Cambridge, RT researched electrical quantum effects in microstructured semiconductor materials. RT's current research deals with the development of methods for micro- and nanostructuring of plastics, including for use in microfluidic chips for biotechnological applications, as well as functionalization of surfaces with e.g. self-cleaning properties.
Research Interest
