Biography
He is the Director and Professor for DTU Aqua, Technical University of Denmark. He received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Dr. rer. nat., IfM Kiel, Germany in the year 1994, followed by a postdoctoral program in the ------ (year). He Project Scientist, Institute for Sea Fisheries, Hamburg, Germany (1986-1988) and as a Research Director, DIFRES during (2002-2007). He/She served as Director and Professor, for 2011-present DTU Aqua, Technical University of Denmark. He is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. His research interests lie in The role of species interactions in marine fish stock dynamics and linkages between intermediate and upper trophic ecosystem levels and fish stock recruitment under variable environmental forcing conditions. Integration of important population dynamic processes in fish stock assessments and fisheries management procedures. He is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his/her authorship of many books.
