Biography
Dr. Peter Persigehl serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Member of Management Board of MWG-Biotech AG. Dr. Persigehl serves as the Managing Director of Eurofins MWG GmbH, Eurofins Synthesis GmbH and Eurofins Medigenomix GmbH. He started his career as Head of laboratory in research & development of engineering plastics with Bayer AG. At Lanxess AG he was responsible, among other things, for build-up and business operations of a new production site in Wuxi (China). In 2008 he took over management of a business unit for production and marketing of the base chemical adipic acid. In July 2009 he joined Eurofins at the Ebersberg site. Dr. Persigehl holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Munich and did a doctorate on macromolecular chemistry.
