Biography
Kim Sørensen is the General Manager of Exiqon and heads up the Global Market Development efforts in the QIAGEN Life Sciences Business Area. He joined QIAGEN for the first time in 2005 to drive the establishment of the Nordic subsidiary QIAGEN AB, and again in 2011 when he was brought back to lead a number of Global Market Development projects in the NGS realm, including the commercialization of the GeneReader. Mr. Sørensen has 26 years' experience in industry, having held International Sales and General Management positions with KEBO Lab (now VWR), MJ Research, Bio-Rad, LTC, Gene Technologies and Sage Science. He holds a Master of Science from the Technical University of Denmark.
