Biography
Jes co-founded Crystal Fibre (sold in 2008, now NKT Photonics) and Norlase. His is now a Professor at DTU Fotonik specialised in turning research projects into high-tech businesses. Jes has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the Technical University of Denmark and he is author and co-author of more than 300 publications, 1 textbook, and 15 patents (8000+ citations, h-index = 40).
