Biography
Alex Chang has been Head of Asia Pacific region and Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific at Ferring Pharmaceuticals SA since November 1, 2013 and Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S since November 2013. Mr. Chang is responsible for continued development and performance of Ferring businesses in China, Japan, South Korea, South East Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. With a career spanning over 24 years in the global pharmaceutical industry, he has held positions in Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Taipei, Hong Kong and the United States. As Head of the Asia Cluster at Novartis since 2011, Mr. Chang led nine country operations and 2,700 employees. Prior to Novartis, he held several senior management positions for Janssen in China and Taiwan and for Bristol-Myers Squibb in China and the USA.
