Biography
Frederik Paulsen Jr. has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ferring Pharmaceuticals Ltd. since 1998. Dr. Paulsen has been an Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ferring Holding SA since 1988. Dr. Paulsen has been with Ferring since 1976. He serves as the Managing Director at Ferring AB, Sweden since 1983 and Chief Executive Officer of Ferring Holding SA since 1988. He is founder of Rechon Life Science AB. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Ferring B.V. He has been a Director of Philip Morris International, Inc. since September 2014. He is a member of the Boards of MGIMO University in Moscow, Russia and the Pro Universitate of the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel, Germany. He serves as a Trustee of Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Dr. Paulsen studied Chemistry at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel, Germany and Business Administration at the University of Lund, Sweden.
