Peter Wilden

Biography

Peter Wilden serves as Chief Financial Officer, Member of Executive Board and Executive Vice President at Ferring Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Dr. Wilden has been the Chief Financial Officer of Ferring B.V., since 2000 and serves as its Executive Vice President and Member of the Executive Board. Dr. Wilden served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Ferring Holding SA until July 1, 2017. Dr. Wilden served as the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Member of the Executive Board at Ferring Pharmaceuticals SA in Lausanne until July 1, 2017. He was originally an inspector with the German Tax authorities. He joined Ferring in 1991. He served at the IT & Management Consulting sector. He served as a Director for Group Finance of Ferring BV, Hoofddorp from 1996 to 2000, Director of the Board of the Ferring operations in Poland, Hungary & the Czech Republic and Area Manager for the Indian sub-continent from 1994 to 1996 and Deputy Vice-President of Finance & Accounting and Technical Operations of Ferring Arzneimittel GmbH, Kiel from 1993 to 1996. Dr. Wilden served as Director of Finance with responsibility for administration, finance, controlling, IT and procurement of Ferring Arzneimittel GmbH, Kiel from 1991 to 1993; Consultant on a number of IT and related projects of Mak Data System, Kiel and within the Krupp network from 1988 to 1991; Management Assistant of Krupp MaK Maschinenbau GmbH, Kiel from 1986 to 1988 and Scientific Assistant in the IT-Group of the Kiel Institute of World Economics from 1983 to 1986. Dr. Wilden served as Tax Inspector of the revenue office in Wilhelmshaven from 1980 to 1981; Member of various scientific research organizations in Germany, the United States and in the Netherlands. He served as the Vice Chairman at Lonza Group AG until April 16, 2014. He served as a Director of Lonza Group Ag from March 2004 to April 16, 2014. He served as a Director of Trace Biotech AG, Braunschweig from 1999 to 2002. Dr. Wilden holds a Degree in Business Administration and Information Technology as well as a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Kiel.
