Biography

Kevin Nolan, MA, Statistician and Consultant, Associates in Process Improvement, is also a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). He has focused on developing methods and assisting organizations in accelerating their rate of improvement, including the spread of new ideas. He has worked with manufacturing, service, and health care organizations both in the public and private sectors. As an IHI Senior Fellow, Mr. Nolan has served on the faculty for several of IHI's Breakthrough Series Collaboratives, Innovation Communities, and large spread projects. He earned a Master's degree in Measurement and a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Maryland. H

e is a co-author of the book The Improvement Guide: A Practical Approach to Improving Organizational Performance, and co-editor of the book Spreading Improvement Across Your Health Care Organization.
