Biography
Jakob Kampinga, also known as Jaap, M.D., has been a Managing Director of Oakes, Lyman & Co. Limited since 2003. Dr. Kampinga serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ActinoPharma Limited. He is a Medical Doctor, Academic Scientist, and Serial Entrepreneur. He founded Jari Pharmaceuticals BV and served as its Chief Executive Officer. He has held senior positions with Quadrant Healthcare Plc and PhotoBioChem NV. He served as Research and Development Director of Quadrant Healthcare plc since 1994. He began his career as a medical doctor and academic scientist in 1984. He served as an Executive, Board Director and a key Member of the team that promoted the initial public offering of Quadrant. He serves as a Non Executive Director of Cellcotec Ltd. and ActiveSignal Holding Limited. Dr. Kampinga obtained a Medical degree from the University of Groningen.
