Rasmus Wernersson is a Scientific Director at Intomics A/S, Denmark. Co-founder of Intomics - contract research for the pharmaceutical industry within the field of bioinformatics, systems biology and large scale data analysis. His experience in biology ranges from classical biologist areas like botany (especially marine botany) to lab based work on molecular biology (cloning / recombinant DNA, micro-arrays etc). Expert in identifying unique country issues and supporting teams in providing customised strategies for branding, positioning of product and digital marketing in the genomics industry. Experience in the genetic diagnostics industry from early stage brand development through to launch. Detailed understanding of the NGS competitor landscape. Advanced knowledge of the European and Chinese genomics markets in the fields of non-invasive prenatal testing, newborn genetic testing, cancer diagnostics and NGS.
