Biography
Søren Brunak is Professor and Research Director of Disease Systems Biology at the NNF Center for Protein Research, University of Copenhagen, and also Founder of the Center for Biological Sequence Analysis, Technical University of Denmark. He has been pioneer in bioinformatics since the 1980ies and is member of numerous academic and industrial scientific advisory boards, review panels, research councils and committees, as well as he has received several prestigious awards for his contributions to bioinformatics and systems biology
