Mr. Mathew E. Monaghan

Biography

 Mr. Mathew E. Monaghan, also known as Matt, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Invacare Corporation since April 01, 2015 and has been its Chairman of the Board since May 14, 2015. Mr. Monaghan served as the Chief Operating Officer of Global Home Products LlC since April 2004. He served as the Senior Vice President of Global Hips & Reconstructive Research at Zimmer Inc. since January 2014. He joined Zimmer in December 2009. He served as the Chief Transition Officer of Fenwal Inc. He served as the President of Fund 1 LLC. He served as the Principal at Cerberus/TenX Capital Partners, where he focuses on principal investment activities. From December 2009 to January 2014, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Global Hips Business of Zimmer. Prior To Joining Zimmer in 2009, he spent eight years as an Operating Executive for two leading private equity firms, Texas Pacific Group (TPG) and Cerberus Capital Management, where he led acquisitions and operational improvements of portfolio companies. Over the prior 13 years, he held various positions at General Electric Company. He has been a Director of Invacare Corporation since May 2015. He has been an Independent Director at INC Research Holdings, Inc. since October 31, 2016. He serves as a Director of CD Diagnostics, Inc. He serves as a Trustee of Cleveland Clinic Avon Lake Hospital. He gained his Certification as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Mr. Monaghan holds an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from INSEAD. He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
