Biography
Curtis R. Rhine has been Chief Financial Officer of OVATION Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since 2006. Prior to joining OVATION in 2006, Mr. Rhine spent nearly seven years as Senior Vice President, Finance, at Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceuticals Company Ltd., the largest pharmaceutical company in Japan. He joined Takeda four months after the company began operations. Establishing the finance organization, he helped build Takeda from a start-up to a multi-billion dollar company. Before Takeda, Mr. Rhine performed various comptroller and financial planning activities at consumer products company PepsiCo, including 11 years at Frito-Lay, Inc., and two years at PepsiCo Food Systems, the food and paper product supplier to PepsiCo's restaurants. Mr. Rhine began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co., where he spent two years in the audit division.
