Ethan A. Budin

Biography

Ethan A. Budin serves as a Managing Director at Flexpoint Ford, LLC. Mr. Budin is also a Co-Founder of the firm. He is the leader of the healthcare practice. Previously, he served as a Senior Principal at the firm. Prior to the founding of Flexpoint in 2005, Mr. Budin was a Principal at GTCR Golder Rauner, where he focused on investments in healthcare. He joined the firm in 1998. Mr. Budin also served as an Associate at the Boston Consulting Group Inc. and Principal at Leeds Group Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Budin worked as a Mergers and Acquisition Analyst at Lazard Freres & Company. He also serves as a Director of Ovation Pharmaceuticals Inc. Mr. Budin served as a Director of several GTCR portfolio companies including CPS Holdings, LLC and Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He has also served as a Director of Frontline Group Inc., Trans Healthcare, and ForeFront Education. Mr. Budin earned an A.B. in Mathematics, summa cum laude, and Associate's Degree in Mathematics from Harvard University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
