Biography

Wilbur H. Gantz, III, also known as Bill, MBA, BA serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of PathoCapital LLC. Mr. Gantz serves as Senior Advisor at Paragon Pharmaceuticals LLC. He serves as Partner of Adams Street Partners, LLC. He serves as an Executive Chairman of Naurex, Inc. He is a Partner of Adam Street Partners, LLP. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman of Lundbeck Inc. since September 2002 and served as its President. Prior to joining Ovation, Mr. Gantz served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of PathoGenesis Corporation since 1992. Mr. Gantz served as the President of Baxter International Inc. from 1987 to 1992. He joined Baxter International, Inc. in 1966 and held various management positions prior to becoming Baxter International, Inc.'s Chief Operating Officer in 1983 and also its Director. Mr. Gantz's 25 year career at the firm, he held a number of executive positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1980 to 1987, President International from 1975 to 1980 and Vice President Europe from 1970 to 1975. He serves as Chairman of Aptinyx, Inc. a biotech company developing drugs for CNS indications. He served as the Chairman of PathoGenesis Corporation since January 1998 and served as its Director since March 1992. He served as Chairman of the Board at Naurex, Inc. since May 11, 2011. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Harris Financial Corporation. He served as the Chairman of Illinois Biotechnology Industry Organization. He serves as a Director of Medgenics, Inc. He has been a Director of Illinois Coalition since 2001. He serves as Director of Harmony Biosciences, LLC. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Paragon Pharmaceuticals LLC. He has been an Independent Director of Aevi Genomic Medicine, Inc. since October 16, 2013. He serves as a Trustee of the Field Museum of Natural History and a director of Neurowave, Inc. He serves as a Director of Adams Street Partners LLC, Neurowave Medical Technologies LLC, The Illinois Technology Development Alliance, BMO Bancorp, Inc., Harris Trust & Savings Bank and Bankmont Financial Corp. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Ocularis Pharma Inc. Mr. Gantz served as a Director of W.W. Grainger, Inc. since 1985 until April 24, 2013 and is its Lead Director. Mr. Gantz served as a Director of Ikaria, Inc. since April 2005. Mr. Gantz served as a Member of Advisory Board of Corus Pharma Inc.
