Biography
He completed MD in Cardiology and Anaesthesiology. He was the head of clinical department of cardiology at the University Hospital of Montpellier. He has numerous publications and has been a member of the scientific committee of the French Drug Agency. He was elected to the board in 2005 and resigned in 2006 and was re-elected in 2007. He is regarded as an independent board member.
