Biography

Mr. Peder Holk Nielsen has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Novozymes A/S since April 1, 2013. Mr. Nielsen served as an Executive Vice President of Enzyme Business at Novozymes A/S from 2007 to April 1, 2013. He served as the Head of Enzymes Business at Novozymes A/S. Mr. Nielsen served as an Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Novozymes A/S. He served as Corporate Vice president for Enzyme Development & Industrial Biotechnology at Novo Nordisk

Research Interest

 He serves as a Director of Hempel (China) Ltd., LEO Pharma A/S and Hempel A/S. He served as a Member of Advisory Board at Center for Biocatalysis and Bioprocessing. Mr. Nielsen holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and a B.Com. in International Business Management from Copenhagen Business School.
