Biography
Jeanette Wood is currently a board member and scientific advisor to several academic and biotech organizations. She has more than 30 years of drug discovery experience in big Pharma and Biotech with a track record of drugs progressed to clinical trials and to the market. Jeanette’s previous leadership roles include CSO, Genkyotex, Switzerland (2014-2016), Head of Science, Oncology Research, AstraZeneca UK (2012-14). Head of Biology, S*BIO Pte Ltd, Singapore (2006-2011). Senior Manager and Project Leader, Oncology/Cardiovascular Research, Novartis AG/Ciba-Geigy AG, Switzerland (1980-2006). Jeanette holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. She is author of more than 100 peer reviewed publications and numerous patents and has served as a part-time lecturer at Universities in New Zealand, Switzerland, Singapore and Korea.
