Biography

Timothy Case, also known as Scott, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Startup America Partnership, LLC since 2011. Mr. Case is an entrepreneur, inventor, technologist and philanthropist. Mr. Case continues to build social enterprises that use technology, commercial processes and incentives to create sustainable, scalable solutions to improve people's lives. He co-founded Main Street Genome. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Malaria No More, where Mr. Case worked to inspire individuals and institutions in the private sector to end deaths caused by malaria. He also co-founded Precision Training Software. He is Co-Founder of the Rewards for Justice Fund. Mr. Case was Co-Founder of priceline.com. As Chief Technology Officer, he was responsible for building the technology that enabled priceline.com's hyper-growth. At the Walker Digital Invention Laboratory, Mr. Case helped build a portfolio of intellectual property and is a named inventor on dozens of U.S. patents including the underlying portfolio for priceline.com. Previously, he served as a Venture Partner at Cava Capital. Mr. Case serves as Chairman of Network for Good Donor Advised Fund and Maleria No More. He was Vice Chairman of Malaria No More. Mr. Case serves as a Vice Chairman of Nonprofit Services. He is also on the Advisory Board of By Kids for Kids, Tickets-for-Charity and ThreeJars. He serves as Member of the Advisory Network at Cava Capital. He serves as Director of Network for Good, Inc. He serves as Director of Startup America Partnership, LLC. He founded a nonprofit called Direct Help whose mission was to help nonprofit leaders implement successful online communications and fundraising programs and served as its President. He serves as Director of Up Global. Mr. Case is also an Active Board Member of the United Way of Norwalk & Wilton, He serves as Director of Groundspring.org. Prior to developing these nonprofit undertakings, Mr. Case launched Priceline for Gasoline, a Name-Your-Own-Price Internet service provided by the Priceline WebHouse Club. He served as a Member of Advisory Board of Ziipa LLC. Mr. Case has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
