Biography
Over time, Anders has engaged in several successful MedTech companies as an academic researcher, inventor, manager and venture investor. Much of this activity in the diabetes field. He has been a consultant for Eli Lilly’s advanced glucose sensor initiative. Additionally he has acted as technology scout for Radiometer (now part of Danaher) on new technology for glucose measurement, and the chairman of the Swiss company Solianis AG (now part of Biovotion), introducing a multisensor wearable device for diabetes monitoring.The list of companies co-founded by Anders includes Precisense A/S (now part of Medtronics), introducing a competitive assay sensor format for glucose monitoring, and Retinalyze A/S, introducing computer assisted image analysis for assessing diabetic retinopathy.MSc in Food Science and PhD in Immunology from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University of Denmark.
