Biography
Harald Hofmann initially studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and later received his law degree from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. After passing the German Bar Examination, he worked for a law firm and was later the director of the legal department for an international telecommunications corporation. As a founding member of Sonnenberg Fortmann (now part of the 24IP Law Group), he has a wide range of experience in all areas of commercial IP protection. Harald Hofmann advises clients about adversarial patent proceedings, the acquisition of trademark rights and, in particular, works on border seizure actions with the Customs Authorities and on other intellectual property infringements.
