Biography
Ludwig Lindermayer studied production and automation technologies in a Franco-German dual study programme at the EPF École d'Ingénieurs in Sceaux, France and the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany. His thesis involved the planning of the material supply for a production line by implementing a Kanban system in the Bosch Siemens Home Appliances plant in Chuzhou, China. He graduated in 2008 and was awarded a dual M.Sc. degree. He worked after graduation as a production planning engineer at MTU Friedrichshafen, Germany. His responsibilities included planning processes, machinery materials and production layout for customer-specific power units, as well as the assembly of integrated train power units. His focus was on the optimisation of processes using principles of lean-management along the entire manufacturing process and the optimisation of the launch of the series production
