Biography

Mr. Thomas Magnussen serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Partner of Zylinc Aps, which develops software solutions for Unified Communications, marketed to major enterprises globally with IBM, Cisco, Ericsson, TDC and TeleNor as distribution partners. Mr. Magnussen Co-founded four high-tech start-ups which three of them are still in operations and one had a successful exit in 1994 and has been their Chief Executive Officer since 1987. His areas of expertise include nanotechnology, software, IT, telecom, medical technology, etc. His professional experience also includes fund raising for more than USD 60 million for start-ups in Europe, US and Asia. He serves as Chairman of at QuantumWise A/S. He has been the Chairman of BioPorto A/S since 2013 and has been its Director since February 26, 2013.

He serves as a Director of iMotions - Emotion Technology A/S. Mr. Magnussen is a serial entrepreneur in high-tech companies with global business. Mr. Magnussen holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering in 1980 and an M.S. from DTU.
