Biography

Aders Hedegaard has been Chief Executive Officer at GN ReSound A/S since August 2014. Mr. Hedegaard has a broad based managerial experience and has overall responsibility in driving significant revenue growth and improved productivity in global companies. He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and MedTech industries. He served as President & Chief Executive Officer of Bavarian Nordic A/S from 2007 to 2014; Executive Vice President of ALK-Abelló A/S from 2002 to 2007; Group Vice President of FOSS A/S from 2000 to 2002; International Marketing Director of Novo Nordisk A/S from 1999 to 2000; General Manager of Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Ltd. from 1996 to 1999; International Marketing Manager of Novo Nordisk A/S from 1994 to 1996, and International Product Manager of Novo Nordisk A/S from 1991 to 1994. He holds a master's degree in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
