Biography
CEO of Obalon Therapeutics (NASDAQ: OBLN) and is currently the Chairman of the Board. She is also currently the founding CEO of Truvian Sciences. Past investments include Ariosa Diagnostics (acquired by Roche), Corthera (acquired by Novartis) and BiPar (acquired by Sanofi-Aventis). Dr. Kamdar is a Kauffman Alum and was formerly a Research Director at Novartis. She also serves on the advisory board of Dr. Eric Topol’s NIH supported Clinical and Translational Science Award for Scripps Medicine and as a board member for Access Youth Academy, a non-profit committed to transform the lives of underserved youth. Dr. Kamdar received a B. A. from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. from Emory University.
