Biography
He holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture and M.Sc. in Economics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He is the former President & CEO of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. He joined Teva in 1995 and led the company's global expansion, managing 12 acquisitions, two of which were the largest M&A deals in Israeli history at the time. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his/her wide range of publications in various national and international journals. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Israel National Nanotechnology Initiative, an initiative he also helped found.
