Biography

Jens Maaløe has been President and CEO in Terma A/S since January 2003. Terma is a global supplier of mission-critical solutions for the Defense, Aerospace, and Security markets. The company is headquartered in Denmark with subsidiaries and operations in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, UK, India, Singapore, UAE. The U.S.-based subsidiary Terma North America Inc. holds a U.S. security clearance (Secret) and has offices in Crystal City, Virginia; Warner Robins, Georgia; Fort Worth, Texas, and Norfolk, Virginia. Prior to his employment at Terma, Jens Maaløe was President and CEO in NetTest A/S from 1997-2003. Prior to joining NetTest A/S in 1997, he was a member of the Senior Management of Tele Denmark, where he was responsible for overall sales and service operations on Sealand in Denmark. From 1983-1995, Jens Maaløe served in various management positions with NKT Electronics, first as R&D Manager, then as Head of Sales, and finally as Executive Vice President. Jens Maaløe is Chairman of the Danish National Innovation Foundation. He is also a member of the Board of the Defence and Aerospace Industry in Denmark and of the board of several industrial associations in Denmark. Further, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Danish companies NKT Holding A/S and Grundfos Holding A/S. Jens Maaløe holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. He is married to Lis Maaløe and has two grown children. He enjoys jogging, skiing, and playing tennis. (June 2017)
