Mr Nils Greir

Biography

Nils Greir joined Terma A/S, a major Denmark-based worldwide defense industry manufacturer and contractor, in 2003. He launched Terma’s business expansion program in the United States. He was instrumental for the establishment of the incorporated subsidiary company with four U.S. locations operating under a U.S. Department of Defense Special Security Agreement. His primary task is strategic business development in North America. Among his current priorities is the company product portfolio within command and control systems for naval and land-based applications and self-protection systems for naval vessels. Nils graduated from the Danish Army Military Academy and served as an Infantry Officer with the Royal Life Guards. Later assignments included service as Adjudant to the Minister of Defense and at the Operations Planning Branch at Defense Command Denmark. He attended the Senior Joint Staff Course at the Royal Danish Defense College and the Danish Defense Management and Resources Course. As a Lieutenant Colonel, he served as Assistant Defense, Military, Naval and Air Attaché, Royal Danish Embassy, Washington, D.C. and Ottawa, Canada in the period 2000- 2003. Nils currently resides with his wife Pernille in the Washington D.C. area
