Steve Williams

Biography

He is Co -Chairman of the American Danish Business Council and Honorary Chairman of the German American Business Council. He is a board member of Fraunhofer USA and Senior Advisor to the Executive Council on Diplomacy. Prior to joining Terma, he spent 12 years at Lockheed Martin, where he was President for Continental Europe, responsible for international business development in over 75 countries with 12 field offices, and Regional Executive for Europe, Israel and the Americas. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, he was P resident of a security and telecommunications company, leading business partnerships in the U.S. and Japan. He was a U .S. Army Foreign Area Officer and Combat Arms Officer for over twenty years. He served as a Policy Advisor in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff, where he negotiated European basing agreements and led policy planning for Operation Northern Watch (Northern Iraq). His international experience incl udes study abroad, serving in a U .S. Embassy and with the U .S. European Command, and commendation for actions taken under hostile fire. He is a graduate of West Point with a B Sc in Engineering, has a Master ’s degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University, and attended the Greek War College.
