Bjerne S. Clausen

Biography

"Bjerne S. Clausen has been President and CEO since 2011. He joined the Executive Committee in 2006 as Director of Research & Development and became Executive Vice President of the Technology Division in 2008. Dr. Clausen joined Topsoe in 1979. Dr. Clausen holds an MSc and a PhD in Materials Science from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and was awarded an honorary doctorate from DTU in 2014. Dr. Clausen is Adjunct Professor at both DTU and University of Aarhus, Denmark, and has been appointed Visiting Professor at the Business School of Nankai University, China. Dr. Clausen has served on numerous research and industrial boards and committees, and he is currently Chairman of the Board of iNANO, the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center, University of Aarhus, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Department of Chemical Engineering, DTU."
