Biography
Eric Evans serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of GST AutoLeather, Inc. and served as its Vice President and Managing Director of South African region since May 2008. Mr. Evans has been responsible for the daily operations of vertically integrated tanning, retanning, finishing and cutting operation of GST, in addition to a fully compliant R&D Development Center and automotive leather Testing Laboratory, responsibilities include Manufacturing & Logistics operations, Quality control/Quality assurance; Sales & Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Safety, Health & Environmental compliance; Information Technology and overall business development. Mr. Evans joined Seton Company in July 1999 as Corporate Controller and served as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2002, responsible for Seton’s global finance and control functions. He spent 15 years at FMC Corporation’s Agricultural Products Group and its Armaments System Division, where he held a number of leadership positions in Finance, Operations, Sales and Marketing and Business Development. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dickinson College.
