Biography
Dr. O’Donoghue’s Ph.D. degree was awarded for research into “The early establishment of the CNS-PNS transitional zone of spinal and cranial motor nerves; an interspecies, and an electron and a light microscopic study” by University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. Her research was carried out in Biological Sciences Institute in the Department of Neuroscience/Anatomy at UCC. During her Ph.D., she attended and presented her postgraduate work to numerous conferences including the National Neuroscience Network, the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and Ireland, and the International Society for Developmental Neuroscience. This was followed by two years working as an Anatomist/Medial Liaison Officer for a medical imaging company in Dublin, Ireland.
