Biography
Dr. Sanaa Eissa, is a professor of medical biochemistry and molecular biology at Faculty of medicine, Ain Shams University and faculty of medicine, Armed force in Cairo, Egypt. She is a member of the editorial board and a peer reviewer of international journals, thesis and projects. She is a member of the Egyptian universities promotion council and she is an external reviewer for higher education accreditation by the Egyptian organization for quality assurance and accreditation of education. She published over 50 peer reviewed manuscripts on tumor molecular biomarkers in PubMed cited journals and she is the principal investigator of a number of national and international projects. She has been recognized in the past by the prestigious National Excellence Prize in Advanced Technological Sciences 2011 by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. As a co-founder and vice president of the Egyptian society of tumor markers oncology, she is working closely for the past years on the discovery and validation of urine-based bladder cancer biomarkers.
Research Interest
Her main research interest is to develop novel biomarkers for disease diagnosis
