Biography
I have been working in the computer and information systems field for 38 years. I had the chance to mix applied work and academic research. After my graduation, in 1978 and through my graduate studies, I worked as a programmer senior programmer, programmer/analyst, systems programmer, and I managed a main frame facility. After my Ph.D. I worked as an assistant professor, then as an associate professor, in the Military Technical Collage, Cairo, Egypt. I worked as a visiting professor at the computer science department, American University in Cairo (AUC) for 6 years. I was invited to teach in Ohio State University. I am appointed as an adjunct professor in Ohio State University and participated at the Saudi National Geographic Information Systems Project. In 1995, I joint The Arab Academy for Science and Technology at Alexandria, Egypt as a faculty member. I was Seconded to United Arab Emirates University since Sep., 1996), started the department of management Information systems.My Current position is a fuculty member at the college of computing and information technology and position as a deputy presedent to the Arab Academy for Information technology and Bublic services.
